Two executives leave, others promoted as new Target CEO changes leadership team

Just over a week into his tenure, new Target CEO Michael Fiddelke has rung the changes at the company’s HQ in Minneapolis.

Target announced on Tuesday a series of changes to its executive team at the “start of a new chapter for Target,” Fiddelke said, saying the changes show the company is “moving quickly to take action against our priorities that will drive growth within our business”

Among the changes is the departure of Rick Gomez, the chief commercial officer who is leaving the company after 13 years. Meanwhile Jill Sando, chief merchandising officer for apparel and accessories, home and Fun101, is retiring after 29 years with the company…
