An Eden Prairie woman has been charged with felony theft after allegedly taking a running vehicle from a gas station and driving it to her home, according to a criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court.
Valerie Anne Bannon-Ahola, 39, is charged with theft of a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent in connection with the Jan. 21 incident. The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
