Cloquet Area Indivisible rallies in solidarity with Twin Cities protesters

Community members in the Cloquet area gathered to support peaceful protests and show solidarity with demonstrators in the Twin Cities. They hosted a protest in Moose Lake at 10 a.m. and a second one in Cloquet at 1 p.m.

We the People: Cloquet Area Indivisible said they organized rallies as part of a peaceful movement. One of the organizers said they have held these protests throughout the winter.

“We want to protect our immigrants, and DEI, and all the things that have been taken away from some of the people in this country,” said Cheryl Fitzgerald, one of the organizers at the Moose Lake rally. “So that’s what we’re here for, for the most part. We come a lot. We’re here during the winter months. We have been in 30 below.”…
