Federal prosecutors have announced five convictions in connection with a drug trafficking ring that has been linked to one of the largest and most powerful drug cartels in the world.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 47-year-old Eric Anthony Rodriguez became the fifth conviction after a jury found him guilty of conspiracy to distribute meth and drug possession last week.
Erick Emilio Diaz-Aguilar, Juan Martin Elvira Jr., Edward Gonzalez and Bruce Michael Orton have already pleaded guilty in their cases…
