A winter weather advisory has expanded further south to include the Twin Cities, with several inches of snow expected to fall over the course of Wednesday.
The National Weather Service says that a “narrow band of accumulating snow” dropping 2-4 inches is now possible stretching from west-central Minnesota to the Twin Cities.
The winter weather advisory now includes six of the Twin Cities counties, with Anoka the lone exception.
