We found this quilted heart on the lake path while walking with my mom and dad. My dad has suffered a severe stroke and my sister and I have been helping her care for him in their home. Our dad is pretty much wheelchair-bound so we hadn’t been out for a walk for at least a couple months. It was a lovely spring- like day — false Spring we call it, since now there is 2 inches or so of fresh snow on the ground! What a treat to find this heart hanging in the bushes as we walked down to the park. Finding it added to the joy that we felt in being able to be outside on a sunny February day in Minnesota, so thank you. It is now hanging in my parents’ living room as a reminder of that beautiful day. Thank you❤️
