A new pizza shop will be slinging slices at Midtown Global Market before the end of the month.
Pizza Luna is set to open on Friday, Feb. 27, taking up residence in the space formerly occupied by Slice Pizza at the Lake Street food hub.
It’s the first restaurant for owner Ary Ramirez, who previously worked as a general manager at a Slice Pizza shop. Ramirez plans to serve “handcrafted, affordable pizza,” with classic combinations, as well as signature styles like buffalo chicken, chicken bacon ranch, and dill pickle ranch.
An announcement from Midtown Global Market says Ramirez is “driven by the goal of building a bright and secure future for her children while contributing something meaningful to her community.”…
