There are just two D’Amico & Sons restaurants left in Minnesota. By the end of March, there will be none.
The restaurants in Edina and Golden Valley will close their doors when the leases end on March 28. It’ll conclude roughly 30 years of business in the state, as co-owners Richard and Larry D’Amico refocus their energy on the company’s three restaurants in Naples, Fla.: Campiello, The Club Room at Campiello, and The Continental.
Details on why they will close the restaurants were not shared.
The first D’Amico & Sons opened in Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood in 1994. There were eventually seven of the fast-casual outposts, including a downtown café on Nicollet Mall, which closed in November. It further operated notable Twin Cities restaurants like D’Amico Cucina, Masa, and Café and Bar Lurcat, the latter of which closed last year, marking the end of D’Amico & Partners’ full-service restaurants in Minnesota…
