MINNEAPOLIS — A Minneapolis man is charged with murder after allegedly trying to steal a Louis Vuitton bag.
Abdirahman Khayre Khayre, 20, Minneapolis, is charged with second degree murder and first-degree aggravated robbery. It stems from a fatal shooting in the historic Abbott Apartments in the Stevens Square neighborhood of Minneapolis on Feb. 24.
According to the criminal complaint, a witness and the victim went to the apartment that day to hang out with Khayre. There, they were reportedly robbed by four men, one of whom was Khayre. The witness said they wanted the Louis Vuitton bag the victim had, but the victim refused to give it up. The complaint states the witness tried to leave and that’s when he heard gunshots…
