Fmr. Oakdale police officer accused of making harassing calls sentenced to probation

OAKDALE, Minn. — A former Oakdale police officer, accused of making harassing phone calls leading to an armed standoff in 2022, has been sentenced to probation.

According to the court documents, Charles Nelson was sentenced to one year of probation and 15 days of confinement, which may be substituted with community service.
