As Operation Metro Surge continues to wind down, a North Loop restaurant famous for its freshly made pasta is making a simple, but desperate plea to patrons: Please come back downtown.
In an email to customers, the owners of Dario say they are struggling and make what they call “an urgent request.”
“Please come back downtown. Come to the North Loop. Come to Dario,” restaurant owners Joe Rolle and Stephen Rowe write.
“The recent ICE Surge, combined with an already challenging winter season and extreme cold, has caused a deep nose-dive in reservations. We are facing an unsustainable situation that paints a bleak picture for Dario and the restaurant industry as a whole.”…
