Minnesota DHS worker received 1-day suspension for keying Teslas

A Minnesota Department of Human Services(DHS) employee received a one-day, unpaid suspension for keying multiple Teslas in Minneapolis last year.

A letter obtained by 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS from DHS shows Dylan Adams was issued a one-day unpaid suspension, which he served on Jan. 22. The letter shows he was allowed to return to work the next day.

“We expect employees – through their words and actions – to hold themselves to the highest standards of honesty, integrity and ethical behavior,” DHS said in a statement to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS. “A careful review of the facts in this case determined this employee’s actions seriously undermined public trust and violated our code of ethics. As a result, the employee was suspended for one day without pay.”…
