Six Flags to sell seven parks, two in Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KOAM) — Six Flags locations, including two in Missouri, will soon have a new owner.

EPR Properties, a real estate investment trust based in Kansas City, Missouri, will buy seven Six Flags parks.

The seven parks include:

  • Worlds of Fun (Kansas City, Missouri)
  • Six Flags St. Louis (St. Louis, Missouri)
  • Michigan’s Adventure (Muskegon, Michigan)
  • Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston (Galveston, Texas)
  • Six Flags Great Escape (Queensbury, New York)
  • Six Flags La Ronde (Montreal, QC)
  • Valleyfair (Minneapolis, Minnesota)

Six Flags officials say the sale will allow the company to concentrate on the Six Flags parks with the “greatest potential for innovation, expansion, and elevated guest experiences.”
