Man pleads guilty to murder in downtown Minneapolis dice game shooting

A man has pleaded guilty to fatally shooting a victim while trying to rob him last year during a dice game in downtown Minneapolis.

Tyrone De Shun Childs Jr., 21, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to counts of second-degree murder and second-degree assault in connection with the Aug. 27 shooting that killed 35-year-old Jermaine Jabaar Typray Barker and wounded a bystander.

One count of first-degree aggravated robbery is expected to be dismissed as part of the plea deal…
