Minneapolis, Minnesota – Afternoon temperatures could climb into the low to mid-60s by Thursday in Minneapolis and St. Paul, bringing a noticeable warming trend across Minnesota as a broad spring warm pattern expands across much of the central United States.

According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, the large-scale weather setup developing Wednesday through Sunday, March 18–22, favors above-normal temperatures across portions of the Upper Midwest, including Minnesota. Highs across the state may run 10 to 15 degrees above typical mid-March averages
