Another wave of car break-ins in the Twin Cities

Another car break-in spree swept across the Twin Cities early Thursday morning, leaving dozens of drivers dealing with shattered glass and repair bills.

Minneapolis Police responded to nine separate locations between 7 and 10 a.m., where at least 38 cars were damaged in the city’s Third and Fifth Precincts. Broken glass litters the parking lot outside Shewa Grocery and Deli in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood, where it appears at least 8 cars were broken into.
