More than 500 flights to and from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport have been canceled this weekend ahead of a massive winter storm that could bring 12-18 inches of snow to the Twin Cities.
FlightAware is currently showing 38 canceled departures from MSP on Saturday and 47 canceled arrivals, with the worst of the snow set to arrive on Saturday evening and continue through Monday morning.
Sunday will be the worst day for travel, with the National Weather Service warning of “near impossible” conditions. As of 8:30 a.m. Saturday there are 228 canceled departures from the Twin Cities airport, and 198 canceled arrivals…
