Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Patti Smith is making a weekend of her time in Minnesota.
Last week, Smith announced she would play an intimate gig at The Parkway Theater on Saturday, March 14, a day after her previously planned book event at the O’Shaughnessy Auditorium.
On Friday, she announced a very last-minute bonus: An early evening gig on Sunday. “Grab a shovel!” the Parkway wrote in an announcement. “Due to popular demand, a 2nd show for Patti Smith will be happening Sunday, March 15.”
Smith will perform with longtime collaborator Tony Shanahan and son Jackson Smith at both of her Parkway concerts.
