A crew of three firefighters from West Metro Fire-Rescue District traveled to South Dakota to help fight the Qury Fire, which has grown to about 5,000 acres and is burning roughly two miles southeast of the city of Custer. The fire is showing extreme behavior, with torching trees and spot fires ahead of the main blaze.
