A quiet Tuesday afternoon in south Minneapolis turned violent when a man was found in the lobby of his apartment building with a stab wound considered potentially life-threatening, authorities said. Officers were called shortly after 12:15 p.m., and the wounded resident was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries. Detectives say two people took off from the building before police arrived, and investigators are still sorting out what led up to the attack.
According to KSTP, officers responded to the 3000 block of 16th Avenue South and found the victim in the lobby with at least one potentially life-threatening wound. The station reports the man had been inside his apartment when he was attacked. No arrests have been made.
