The Golden Valley Police Department is continuing its search for a police chief, a position the city initially hoped to have filled by the end of 2025.
Two finalists participated in a community forum on March 11, Christopher Chrisostomidis of the Savage Police Department and Victor McDowell Jr. of the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority Police Department, but Golden Valley officials ultimately decided that neither of them were the right fit.
