U of M buys Buffalo Wild Wings property near stadium for $8M

The former Minneapolis fire station directly across from Huntington Bank Stadium has sold to the University of Minnesota for $8 million.

The building, built in 1893, has housed Buffalo Wild Wings on the lower level since 2010. The restaurant’s current lease expires at the end of 2030.

Marketed as a redevelopment opportunity, the property is just under a half-acre and the former fire station, known as Station 19, spans about 15,570-square-feet.
