As auto thefts rise again in Minneapolis, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office (HCAO) is hoping police departments will resume sending youth to an early‑intervention program designed to reach teens before they become involved in motor vehicle thefts.
“I really hope that in this period of time where we are seeing an increase in motor vehicle thefts, that our police partners take advantage of this pathway and start to make referrals,” said Morgan Kunz, Criminal Division director at the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.
