A devastating health challenge weeks before a Minneapolis couple’s wedding didn’t stop them from tying the knot – it just changed the venue.

Eric Pfaff and Mackenzie Tannhauser, of Minneapolis, were married in a hospital room on March 13, in a ceremony attended by a small group of friends and family.

Tannhauser had suffered from double silent heart attack and a spinal stroke in early March, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. The news meant the couple could not get married in a ceremony they had planned for April 24…
