‘No Kings’ protests live updates: Springsteen performs at Minneapolis rally as millions take to the streets across the U.S.

Bruce Springsteen performed “Streets of Minneapolis” at the flagship No Kings rally in St. Paul on Saturday, telling a crowd of at least 50,000 that “federal troops brought death and terror to the streets of Minneapolis. They picked the wrong city.” Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz also addressed the crowd.

Tens of thousands more marched through Times Square in New York; crossed Memorial Bridge in Washington, D.C.; and filled streets in cities across the country and overseas. In Dallas, clashes erupted between No Kings marchers and counter-protesters that included pardoned Jan. 6 figures.
