‘Special’ Minnesota Singer Commands Stage on 1st Live ‘Idol’ Show

America is rallying behind their favorite Minnesota singer on Season 24 of American Idol.

Chris Tungseth of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, got a spot in the Top 14 to deliver a big live performance on American Idol Monday night (March 30th). Did he win America’s hearts enough to make it into the Top 12?

In honor of Holy Week, American Idol welcomed viewers to join in “Songs of Faith” night. Contestants performed their favorite spiritual and inspirational songs for their first live performance. Chris Tungseth showed his heart on stage with his rendition of “Bye Your Grace” from Cody Johnson
