One dead after crash Tuesday morning in Dakota County

DAKOTA COUNTY, Minn. — A 60-year-old man died after two vehicles collided Tuesday morning in Dakota County.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the crash occurred shortly after 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of 280th Street and Highway 3 in Castle Rock Township. Officials say a truck was traveling west on 280th and an SUV was headed north on Highway 3 when the two vehicles collided.

The driver in the truck, a 60-year-old man from Watertown, S.D., was killed. The other driver was transported to HCMC with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, the state patrol says…
