Authorities in Anoka County are looking to the public for help after two dogs attacked and killed another dog in Fridley.
The Fridley Police Department says its investigators were first alerted of the attack on Monday after a community member sent them a social media post about a dog that was killed by two large, loose dogs, identified as likely being Staffordshire bull terrier mixes.
Officers were able to track down one of the owners of the dog that was killed and learned the attack occurred on Sunday sometime after 7 p.m.
“During the incident, two loose dogs approached the resident carrying their two dogs near 5th and 63rd Avenue NE,” a department press release details. “One of the loose dogs attacked the resident and killed one of their dogs.”…
