A man is dead after an early-morning shooting in Minneapolis’ Hawthorne neighborhood, according to police. Officers were called just after 1:18 a.m. Thursday to the area of 31st Avenue North and 4th Avenue on a report of a single gunshot and found the man lying in the street with a life-threatening wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, authorities said.
