Las Vegas man pleads guilty to Minneapolis homicide the same day he’s charged

A Las Vegas man who was charged Friday in connection with a Minneapolis homicide in July entered a guilty plea the same day.

Dijon Jacquez Davis, 19, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder and will be sentenced to nearly 22 years (261 months) in prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 7.

Minneapolis police responded to the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Lyndale Avenue South on July 25, where they found 37-year-old Justin Adams Marshall suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries…
