A Minneapolis woman who suffered a double silent heart attack just weeks before her wedding has received a heart transplant.
Mackenzie Tannhauser suffered the heart attack and a spinal stroke in early March, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. The news meant that Tannhauser could not get married to her now husband, Eric Pfaff, in the April 24 ceremony they had planned.
