Woman arrested for NE Minneapolis deadly hit-and-run

MINNEAPOLIS — A woman has been arrested and charged after a fatal hit-and-run of a college student in Minneapolis last month.

Around 3 a.m. on March 22, Seham Hassen was struck by a vehicle as she was readying to cross the street near 1623 Marshal Street NE. Hassen, a 22-year-old St. Thomas University student, was set to graduate this spring. She died at the hospital.

Gabryella Marie Liebgott, 22, of St. Paul, was arrested on Sunday for the crash. She is now charged with Criminal Vehicular Homicide – Driver Who Causes Collision Leaves Scene and Criminal Vehicular Homicide – Operate Motor Vehicle in Grossly Negligent Manner…
