And another one! It is not a late prank for April Fools. We truly got multiple rounds of snow in the Northland last week and into the weekend. Sigh.
We saw snow late in the week before we got a bit of a lull on Friday (April 3rd). However, local meteorologists were forecasting another storm late that night and into Saturday. This has been quite the winter.

We saw a moderate amount of snow late in the week, with up to eight inches in some spots. It made travel tricky at times but otherwise, we have definitely seen worse this winter!
So what about the second storm system? I checked out snow totals courtesy of the National Weather Service to see how much snow fell across the area to kick off the weekend. Let’s take a look.
