Coastal Seafoods in St. Paul will close permanently this weekend, less than three years after the longtime shop relocated and expanded its operations with a larger seafood counter, new restaurant and outdoor patio.
“Our last day of service will be April 11, and we’d truly love to see you before then,” Coastal Seafoods announced on Facebook. “Thank you for being part of this chapter with us.”
Founded in south Minneapolis 1985 and purchased by specialty food distributor Fortune Fish in 2016, Coastal Seafoods traded its original Minneapolis location for a much larger space across the street in 2020.
