MyTalk 107.1 has announced that a familiar voice will be joining Jason Matheson on its morning show, filling the gap left following the exit of longtime co-host Alexis Thompson.
The Twin Cities talk radio station revealed on Monday that Colleen Lindstrom is back full-time at the station, where she has worked on and off since its launch in 2022, as she joins “The Jason Matheson Show with Colleen Lindstrom.”
The rebranded morning show, previously called “Jason & Alexis in the Morning” prior to Thompson’s departure, places greater prominence on Matheson, one of the best-known Twin Cities media personalities and who also hosts “The Jason Show” on FOX 9.
MyTalk decided in February not to renew Thompson’s contract after 21 years with the station, citing financial pressures on the radio industry that requires further efficiencies. It was a move that devastated Matheson, who said he understood the industry travails, but said it was “really hard to explain it to my heart.”…
