Jessie Diggins made her first major public appearance since retiring from cross-country skiing at a celebration Sunday in Minnesota.
The event, called “Here Comes Diggins,” took place at Allianz Field in St. Paul, drawing dozens of fans.
Diggins, who grew up in Afton, is currently the most decorated American cross-country skier ever. She has 90 World Cup podiums, multiple Tour de Ski wins, and four Olympic medals, including one from earlier this year at the Milano-Cortina Games…
