Minneapolis, MN (MinnesotaNow) – A Minnesota woman has been handed a 26-year prison sentence for killing two people in a traffic crash.
Vehicle Smashed Into Bus Shelter
Forty-year-old Teniki Latrice Steward was arrested in December 2024 after emergency responders in Minneapolis were called to the scene of a crash and found a badly damaged SUV that had been involved in a collision that caused it to travel a considerable distance and smash into a bus stop shelter.
2 People Killed
Court documents indicate that one of the occupants of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, and another succumbed to critical injuries while being treated at the hospital. Emergency responders also located a third victim, a juvenile, who had been struck by the SUV while standing on the sidewalk next to the bus shelter and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
