For the first time since 2019, the Red Bull Flugtag is soaring back into the Twin Cities.
On Sept. 26, competitors will bring their human-powered flying contraptions to Bohemian Flats Park in Minneapolis.
The absurd competition, which draws thousands of spectators, features teams of up to five launching homemade aircraft from a 30-foot platform. Entrants are judged on their craft design (there was once a Juicy Lucy), performance, and flight distance.
