Multiple SWAT teams were deployed and a shelter-in-place order was issued Monday night in Brooklyn Park as police searched for a shooting suspect, who remains at large Tuesday morning.
Around 9:40 p.m. Monday, officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of 78th Avenue North on a “report of shots fired during a family dispute,” with the caller saying the suspect had fled the scene on foot, according to Brooklyn Park PD.
Police have not yet disclosed whether anyone was injured.
As officers attempted to locate the suspect, residents in the area were asked to remain in their homes, and multiple armored vehicles and SWAT teams were called to assist in the search, along with the Minnesota State Patrol helicopter…
