Clergy, nurses rally outside HCMC as legislators continue to weigh funding options

MINNEAPOLIS — Supporters are ramping up their presence outside Hennepin County Medical Center as legislators continue to debate a funding solution for the safety-net hospital.

The nurses’ union hosted several speakers, some of whom said they were tired of rallying for “basic needs,” while clergy members are holding a 24-hour vigil out front.
