Minnesota Teen Charged for Stolen Car Crash That Severely Injured State Trooper, Passengers

Minneapolis, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A teenage man has been charged in connection with a crash that resulted in severe injuries for a Minnesota State Trooper and two passengers.

The criminal complaint, filed in Hennepin County Court earlier this week, says he was driving a stolen vehicle.

The car was reported stolen on Friday morning. Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office deputies located the vehicle Friday night.

19-year-old Thailand Taiwan Hawkins of Minneapolis was identified as the driver of the stolen vehicle.
