Twin Cities radio personality Dave Ryan is retiring after 33 years at KDWB and 46 years on radio.
During his long-running Morning Show on Wednesday, Ryan announced that May 22 will be his last day at the station, saying he “could not have imagined a more incredible experience.”
“Having an outlet for fun and creativity has been wonderful, but it’s the connection with people who listen that has made this all so amazing,” he said on air. “Being a part of your morning and being welcomed into your life has meant more to me than I can ever express.”
KDWB is owned and operated by iHeartMedia, with a station representative confirming Ryan’s upcoming exit on Wednesday…
