Police officer with BAC over 3 times the legal limit arrested in Bloomington

Dash cam video captured the arrest of a southern Minnesota police officer in Bloomington who had a BAC over three times the legal limit.

Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges said in a video that police responded to a speeding car that eventually crashed in the 9400 block of Lyndale Avenue around midnight on Thursday.

Video from a Bloomington police officer’s dash cam shows a man being arrested in full uniform with a badge and gun. Hodges identified the man as 61-year-old Kenneth Gallion, who works part-time with the Chatfield Police Department.

Hodges added that Gallion had been working at the State Fairgrounds an hour before his arrest…
