A roadway providing access to the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley will soon close for the construction of a roundabout at the entrance to the new international airport.
According to information provided by the Mobile Airport Authority, the closure will affect traffic on Perimeter Road from Monday, June 15, through a projected completion date of Friday, Oct. 23.
While Perimeter Road will be closed to through traffic, it will remain open to the south via Gatotkoco Drive and Dauphin Island Parkway and to the north via Michigan Avenue. A separate detour will be provided for construction traffic to the new international terminal and other operations…
