B-Bob’s announces Pride Week 2026 celebration centered on community & civic engagement

MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — Downtown Mobile bar B-Bob’s has announced its 2026 Pride Week celebration, taking place June 7–14. This year’s theme, “commUNITY,” will spotlight not only celebration and entertainment, but also community connection, visibility, and civic engagement.

To ensure Pride Week remains accessible and welcoming to all, B-Bob’s will waive all door cover fees for events throughout the week. Instead, donations will be collected at the door for ACLU’s Drag Defense Fund and all donations will be matched by B-Bob’s.

A major highlight of this year’s celebration will be the CommUNITY Voter Registration Drive on Saturday, June 13 starting at 2:30 p.m. when B-Bob’s will close down the street to host a street party to encourage civic participation and provide opportunities for attendees to register to vote. The street party will include balloon art, face painting and DJ DavidXDaisy. We have two fantastic food trucks selling food: Ya Mamma’s Home Cookin’ and Southern Swigs who will be serving up their very popular dirty sodas. All food truck tips will be donated to the Mobile County Animal Shelter…
