A 40-year-old Mobile woman lost her life in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 7, 2026, after being struck by an 18-wheeler on Rangeline Road. The Mobile Police Department has identified the victim as Cameron Norwood, whose death has left friends and family mourning across social media in the days since the tragedy.
Officers responded to the 7400 block of Rangeline Road at approximately 2:26 a.m. after receiving reports of a traffic accident. Upon arrival, they found Norwood deceased at the scene.
