CREOLA, Ala. (WALA) – Thunder, lightning and heavy rain pounded the city of Creola on Thursday, leaving low-lying areas under water within minutes.
What started as a steady drizzle quickly turned into sheets of rain. Trouble spots throughout Mobile County became impassable as flooded streets, standing water and road closures were left behind.
