Mobile Chamber Announces New Hires and Staff Promotions

MOBILE, Ala. – The Mobile Chamber has announced new hires, staff promotions and internal team updates as the organization continues strengthening its work in economic development, member service, communications and advocacy.

NEW HIRES

has joined the Chamber as the economic development coordinator. In her role, Miranda will provide administrative support across the department’s business development, existing industry, workforce development and talent attraction programs, coordinate meetings and events, manage social media content, maintain departmental records and support board administration for the Industrial Development Board, Industrial Development Authority and Industrial Park Board. Miranda comes to the Chamber from the Renaissance Hotels of Mobile.

“I was drawn to the Chamber after being involved with the Young Professionals of Mobile for the last several years,” Miranda said. “YP has helped show me what I’m passionate about: Mobile and the community I’ve grown to love as a transplant from Gulfport. I’m excited to be a part of Mobile’s economic development, and I look forward to contributing my organizational skills and attention to detail. I’m eager to grow my expertise and continue working with the team here.”

In this role, Adams will support the Chamber’s business attraction, expansion and retention efforts through economic research, market intelligence, workforce analysis, GIS mapping and strategic project support.
