MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A federal grand jury has indicted a Prichard police officer accused of interfering in investigations, moving drugs, covering up crimes and framing a pair of innocent men.
The seven-count indictment charges Emanuel Naman Dotch II, 50, of Mobile, with conspiracy to commit extortion, deprivation of rights under color of law, evidence tampering, conspiracy to commit bribery and other offenses.
Prosecutors have described Dotch as a corrupt officer who “has spent years operating as a criminal with a gun and a badge.”…
