PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) – The grass next to Michael King’s home off Martin Luther King Avenue is spongy. Water pools into puddles.
It’s not from the recent rain, the longtime Prichard resident told FOX10 News. He said it is from a water main break next to his house that has been leaking since last year.
Complaints about broken water lines are common in a city where the pipes are old and have not been well-maintained. But it can be tricky sometimes to determine who is responsible for fixing them…
